My Confused Admirer and Hater Lives On

Haters are confused admirers who can’t understand why everybody else likes you. - Paolo Coelho

Claiming my movie premiere prize ticket lead to knowing that someone had complained about me, telling the people who runs the website that I should not win! Such an ill-founded and irrational complain that stems from a someone's resentment which only leads to her embarrasment. Of course, they informed me the name of the person who did that.

Yes, I knew who's behind it. I totally forgot all about her, thinking that her absurdity had ended. But it did not, for a person as desperate as her, won't.

No I will not wonder why she still keeps on pulling me down. I only choose to understand her and her insecurities. There have been so many instances, yet no matter what she tried to do, never did she succeed. She only succeeds when she tries to be just like me.

Yes, I am her inspiration.

It's a free world. She can continue imitating and following everything that I am passionate about; because only by doing that can she feel her happiness. She can always follow suit and pattern her life to mine’s. She can follow my blog followers. She can go on befriending all my friends and share with them her versions of the twisted truth.

Still, no matter how hard she keeps on trying, she can't have the life that I am living. She can never be Me. Fakes will never be better than the real thing. A person who does not have a mind of her own will continue living in her shadow of negativities. A heart full of bitterness can say that she's totally happy, but deep inside, distress is breaking her.

Yes, she is one confused admirer.

Her hatred springs from too much jealousy. She is too envious of the qualities that I possess that she is working too hard to have those qualities herself.

I only wondered what she's fighting for or what she's trying to prove. Her patheticness even leads her to creating an account and live as my Impostor. An imitator who does not have a mind of her own. No wonder, someone had even raised an issue of her plagiarism. I reprieve her.

I am just grateful, I've been able to detach myself from her never-ending paradox of the past. I was able to break free from her hypocrisy and deceitfulness.

The more she wishes my downfall, the more I succeed
The more she hopes for my misfortune, the more I am blessed.

Yes, my Impostor is my admirer and my hater, and I know she will stay as is. Still, I am always welcoming her into my world and here in my blog.

Adgitize Site Still Down

Adgitize server is still down. So that is the reason why until now, I am unable to access Adgitize. And no matter how many times I refresh my blog page, the Adgitize advertisements on my blog does not appear.

This announcement was posted in the Adgitize.net forum, which is the only accessible web page:
"Just a notice to those who do not know already, the Adgitize server is currently down. We are looking into the problem now and hoping to have it back online soon. We’re sorry for the inconvenience."

"We will make sure everything is taken care of for points and for the advertisers.  Still trying to get this taken care of, really hoping it's back up soon.  Expected it to be running again by now, very frustrating for us as well."

I hope that this Adgitize server issue will be resolve as soon as possible.

Time To Say "I Love You"

Everyday is a great day to say the words, “I Love You!” or express these words through action. There are also instances wherein this is shown in those little things and gifts we give.

We can always consider giving watches. These make great gifts for the family if there are occasions - like Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries or graduation days, and even if there is none. Giving a watch as a gift is like letting someone knows how much you value him or her. It would also help them realize that time is indeed important.

Everyone deserves to be receive a watch for it is something we get to use everyday. It helps us become aware of our plans for the day and it even serves as a great accessory too. You can't go wrong wearing a watch. You can even wear different ones everyday to make it match your wardrobe. It's a piece worth treasuring.

Checking out the great selection of watches at Bluedial makes me want to buy one or two. There are different styles to choose from and you can even save buying watches for Men and Women. The Bulova chronograph watches are indeed perfect for my husband, and I know that it is something that he wants to have.

Now that Valentine's day is coming, you can consider giving your loved ones a watch that he or she deserves to have.

Renting Tips and Finding a Great Place to Live

People move for varied reasons such as better living standard, proximity to workplace or school. Renting a home, an apartment, a townhouse or a condo unit is not as simple as 123, oftentimes, it can be a daunting task. You don’t just rent and hope for the best. You have to consider a couple of things should you decide to rent one.

Renting can be beneficial too. You are not compelled to continue staying in the same home or same location. Whether you are looking for a place to stay for a short period or not ready to purchase a house, renting is always a viable option. Here are some important factors you might want to consider:

Search and plan early.

Searching for an apartment can take a lot of your time. You can always take a look at the list of apartments for rent. List your priorities. Be clear about the kind of property you're looking for, where you want to live, what amenities you need to be close to and the budget you have available, and how long you want to rent it for. If you own a car, see if there is a garage space. This will make your hunting easier.

Examine the property.

Spend time to check on the exterior and interiors of the entire property. See if there are damages and what needs to be fixed. Check the conditions of the bathroom, kitchen sinks, cabinets, windows, laundry areas, ceilings, walls and flooring. Always consider water supply, power supply, telephone and Internet connection, and a lot more of the necessary factors. Be sure to ask who will handle the major repairs or incidental damages. Don’t rush inspecting the property you want to rent, be thorough and take the time you need.

Determine your ideal location.

Check the entire neighborhood before renting an apartment. Make a thorough research on the where you are going to live. Consider your public transport means, its proximity to schools, hospitals, markets and other important locations.

Rental costs and payment terms.

Consider your budget and how much you can afford to pay. Ask the landlord/owner about payment dues, payment forms and penalties for late payments. Most will expect you to pay 2 months rent in advance. You may also be asked to pay a security deposit, which is usually a month rent. Make sure you can afford to pay the rent and other bills once you decided to move in.

Don’t forget to ask for a documented agreement, examine your lease in detail and keep every payment receipts.

Plan the big move.

Moving, packing and unpacking can also be stressful. Plan carefully for your big day. The smartest way is to prepare a moving out checklist to keep you organized. Plenty of boxes, tapes and marking materials are a big help.

Know your rights.

Be aware of your rights. If there are problems, better inform the property owner. Always remember your rights to privacy as long as you are paying your rent.

Here in the Philippines you have the option of checking the classified ads section of newspapers, property finder ads, surfing the Internet and going around the neighborhood looking for that "For Rent" sign. If you are in the United States, there are millions of properties across the countries that are available for rent. It is always good to check on reliable sources where you can find the best and most affordable apartments for rent.

Sunday Shoot and Nature Love at La Mesa Ecopark

LaMesa Ecopark__family

Spending a day at LaMesa ecopark is like breaking free from city living and the online world. The park, which lies within the La Mesa Watershed, is a great place to commune with nature without actually going out of town. It is built around the watershed that provides water supply to Metro Manila residents. Indeed, Ecopark is a scenic paradise within Quezon City.

Upon paying entrance fees, we opted to write an electric powered jeep for free while enjoying the view. The spacious picnic areas are covered by the canopies of tress providing a much-needed shade under the sun. The picnic groves with grilling facilities make it a great place to have a picnic with the family. You can also bring mats and tents if you want.

As my son Brent won in Kidsandbabies contest, one of the contest highlight is the photoshoot for the 12 winners. I had the chance to meet the winning models and their families. Aside from the sponsored photographer, we bought our own camera so we can enjoy our day at Ecopark to the fullest. We took pictures before and after the photoshoot.

Here are some of Brent's photos wearing his hippie costume. These photos are all taken by my sister's fiancé.

There are trails for biking, jogging, and hiking. Kids can enjoy playing in the playground, ride the bikes or the horses. You can also take a swim at the swimming pool or enjoy boating in the lagoon. The Orchidarium, the Shell Flower Terraces and the Petron Fitness Trail are other interesting areas in the park. More sports activities, like zip lining, wall climbing, paintball field, are available outside the park.

It is indeed a wonderful place to unwind, relax, bond with the family and take outdoor pictures. There are even lots of couples taking their pre-nuptial shots around the park.

At La Mesa Ecopark, nature lovers can enjoy the smell of fresh air, the sight of the colorful flowers and feel the aura of serenity. It is a paradise where you can get closer to nature.

Anew and Rejuvenate

Anew. Rejuvenate.

These two words totally describes what my skin wants to achieve, what I want to feel and what products I need to really invest on. I love using products that will make my skin soft, smooth and young looking. I am 30, and this year, I'll be turning a year older. I am still on the lookout for the perfect anti-aging product line that would work perfectly on my skin.

Luckily, Earth is sponsoring a contest and she's giving away an Anew Rejuvenate Line. It is composed of the  Revitalizing 2-in-1 Gel Cleanser, Revitalizing Mineral Toner, Revitalizing Cream Day (SPF 25 UVA/UVB), Revitalizing Cream Night, A 24 Hour Eye Cream Day Cream SPF 25/ Nigh Cream and Flash Facial Revitalizing Concentrate. Her interesting review about the 6 products make me want to try them on my skin too. I love the fact that the product line is hypoallergenic and the eye cream is safe for those with sensitive eyes.

Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be lucky to win the Avon's Anew Rejuvenate products given by Earthlingorgeous.

March Calendar Model

Brent is KidsandBabies calendar model for March 2010. He won in last month's contest together with 12 kids and babies. This is one contest I really enjoyed joining, because joining has been fun and rewarding at the same time. The contest had been fair enough and you get to learn from other moms as well. Another best thing about this is the winners photoshoot at LaMesa Ecopark where I get to meet the winning kids together with their families.

Adgitize Payment Received

Received my 7th payment from Adgitize. Amidst the busy-ness of the previous holiday season, I had managed to create blog posts and click on Adgitize ads, even if I had missed a couple of days.

I am grateful that Adgitize had rolled back its ad prices to the original $14. Yes, I continued being an advertiser when the price increased to $24. Good thing, I was able to receive even more than what I paid for the month of December. Of course, the best thing is, my ad also got extended until mid-January.

Indeed, the easiest way to get traffic to my blog is to advertise on the Adgitize network. Because of this, I will continue being an Adgitize advertiser and a publisher.

Magical New Year at Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice Araneta Coliseum

Disney on Ice started our year magically! With 13 reserved seats for the show, our family gets to watch the adventure at Araneta Coliseum on New Year's Day!Not only the kids, but also all of us enjoyed watching our favorite Disney characters.

Disney on Ice Araneta Coliseum

The show presents a Disneyland Adventure where everyone joins their favorite characters and classic villains on a colorful and exciting vacation at the theme park.

The kids enjoyed watching the "Fabs"-Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto; and every Disney characters including Disney Princesses Snow White and Cinderella, Stitch, Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles and Buzz Lightyear.

Disney on Ice Araneta Coliseum
In this spectacular production, the "Fabs"-Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto - decide to take a vacation of their own and enjoy Disney's most popular theme park attractions. In one fun-filled scene after another, Donald and Goofy attempt to join in the fun, resulting in a series of comical mishaps. But it's no laughing matter when the evil fairy Maleficent shows up to spoil the fun, and Mickey must enlist The Incredibles to help save the day!

I was able to take these pictures using our point-and-shoot camera; and it would have been greater if we've captured it using a professional camera. This is a show meant to be captured and cherished. Good enough, I was able to capture parts of the show on video. I know the kids would love watching this at home.

Disney on Ice Araneta Coliseum

Disney on Ice Araneta Coliseum

The characters, the effects and the lightings are all fabulous! Truly an amazing way for the kids and adults alike to start 2010!

Still, my son Brent, to his disappointment kept on saying... "hindi tayo nag-papicture kay Mickey Mouse!" He really wants to have his picture taken with Mickey!
