Linggo ng Wika Costume and Activities

"Buwan ng Wika" had been a week-long event at my kid's school.

The entire week was filled with activities that encourages everyone to appreciate our Filipino language and culture - from Filipino clothes, food, games, songs and dances.

My son joined the preschoolers in their presentation. They happily sing Filipino folk songs on stage.

The boys wore their camisa de chino, red scarf and pants; while the little girls wore their Filipiniana costumes.

My daughter's class performed Subli, a traditional Philippine folkdance.

Even the teachers had their performances as well.
