Saying Goodbye

It's hard to let go of things I've been used to. But sometimes, I have to. I'd rather say goodbye to things than say goodbye to people who means so much to me.

It's time for something new and I have made up my mind.

I've been used to wearing my hair long and black, but days ago, I said.. " Goodbye long black hair. Hello short colored hair!"

It makes me feel at my best. I'm loving my new look.

new look without makeup :)
Thanks to my hairstylist for recommending the new haircut and color. And of course, to the people whom I'll be mentioning months from now (gotta keep it a secret first).

My family loved my new hair and most friends liked my new look too.
So, what do you think?

+ On the News:
Oh well, since it's about goodbye, I'm wondering why Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are divorcing after 5 years of marriage! One reason which I've read at TMZ is that Katie doesn’t want Suri to practice Scientology. Now, I'm getting more curious about what that Scientology belief system is.

Condo Living Benefits

Weeks ago, we get the chance in see my kid's former Preschool Directress and her husband in the condominium clubhouse. They were also considering buying condo units, and hopefully my kids would get to see them again near our place.

Buying or moving in a condominium can be a great alternative for those looking for their next home. My family finds living in a condo unit very convenient. We get to have 24-hour security and we get to enjoy different amenities, from parking spaces, swimming pool, basketball courts, clubhouse, gym, church, and other recreational facilities.

The lack of patio space in every unit is answered by the garden spaces around where residents can sit, relax, play or walk the dogs. We don't have to take care of the lawn or worry about pest control, garbage services and other maintenance. The administration office simply calls for assistance if the outdoor patio furniture repair is needed to make it look like new. Yes, there are few drawbacks but the benefits it provides my family outweighs it all.

There are some condominium units with a small balcony or terrace, just like what my siblings have. The outdoor patio space might be tight, but not much of a big deal since they can make use of smaller outdoor furniture to decorate their balconies. Having this patio furniture creates a haven where they can relax, enjoy the view or eat their morning breakfast.

Keeping Home Pest-Free

A clean and pest-free home is always important to our family's health and well-being.

It is always irritating to see insects, rodents and other household pests around. Not only are they troublesome, it can also spread germs, irritate allergies, cause damage to our possessions and make you feel really uncomfortable. This is the reason why good sanitation and cleanliness is important in our homes.

Cleaning up our houses on a regular basis will discourage these pests from sticking around. These rodents and bugs need are attracted to dirt, moisture and food. They usually thrive in a filthy environment and they tend to move in a place where they can survive. If you can stop them from coming in the first place, the better.

One of the best ways to keep them away is to keep a clean kitchen and store food in proper containers. Dirty dishes left in the sink are major attractors to these pests, so better wash those used glasses and dishes right away instead of letting them pile up in the sink. Also, never allow garbage to stack up and pile in your homes.

The pest control in our place also helps prevent the spread of mosquitoes and other pests thru their regular fumigation services. These pests are really destructive if not controlled. You can check how avondale pest control can help get rid of any uninvited guests in your home.

Preserve Old Memories

Nowadays, almost everyone owns digital cameras where we can capture every moment in our lives. Some also makes use of their cellphones, iPads, iPhones and camcorders to conveniently take photos and videos. Several years back, when digital cameras and these gadgets weren't around, we have to rely on the traditional way of taking photos on film and having it printed.

There are times when we look at old photo albums, photos stored in boxes and videos in older formats. It reminds us of how we've changed, all the places we have been too, how our kids have grown and all the wonderful memories we've shared with our family and friends. We smile whenever we look at these past photos. These photographs and videos are all worth treasuring.

Yet, there are instances when these old photographs fade due to sun exposure or other elements. Some have been stained, damaged and deteriorated. We also have outdated home movies in VHS that can be put on CD, DVD or Blu-ray. We don't want to lose these photos and old video tapes. It's always beneficial to look for establishments that can digitize old pictures, negatives and old videos. Considering the 8mm film transfer and conversion to digital will always be a brilliant idea. This way we can cherish the past and have the chance to see them over again. We can archive all these for the generations to come.

Use Google Maps Marketing

In this digital age, most people rely on the Internet for information. Internet-savvy users utilize the Internet for their convenience from communicating thru social media sites to purchasing items online thru e-commerce sites. One thing I find very helpful is Google map. I use it constantly to find a specific place and look up directions and business locations.

It's good that even small businesses make use of Google Maps marketing. It helps them to establish their online businesses.

Everyday, Internet users rely on Google Maps to find anything from products and services, to restaurants and local stores. It's the best way to locate something in an area in a matter of seconds such as searching for a coffee shop to meet with friends. Even people on the go who make use of their iPhones, Blackberrys and iPads use it while walking, driving or shopping.

Since customers keep businesses alive, take time to put small business in the map. If you're business is in the map, you are also increasing the probability of getting more clients. The more traffic that you bring into your website the more customers you can attract. This is one reason why Google Places SEO is really essential.

Millions of people are using Google everyday. If I have my own business, I would definitely use Google Maps to market my business. Google maps help boost marketing. It's very convenient, highly accessible and very easy to use.

This is a sponsored post for OrangeSoda, however, all the points and views are my own.
