Class Suspension August 19, 2013

As of 11:15 pm, Tropical Storm Maring has further intensified! Most schools have already declared suspension of classes tomorrow, August 19, 2003 due to heavy rains and floods.

Dost_pagasa Recommendation for SUSPENSION of CLASSES

SYNOPSIS:
Tropical Storm Maring continues to enhance the southwest monsoon which affects Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Pangasinan, La Union, Benguet, Bataan, Zambales, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro and Metro Manila. These areas will continue to experience heavy rainfall and most likely to prevail until tomorrow morning.

RECOMMENDATION:
With this development, suspension of classes tomorrow (August 19) in Pre-school and Elementary levels in these areas is recommended. Suspension of classes in Secondary and Tertiary levels is left to the discretion of Local Chief Executives or School Administrators. (SOURCE: DOST_Pagasa Facebook post)
