I love free stuff! Well, who doesn't?

Whisper. Lux. Pantene. These are just some of the samples I've received recently.

It's good that our local companies and marketers are sending out these freebies. People got to try them for "free" and have their own experience.

For me, these samples made me aware of these new products. When I got to try them, I become more confident on buying it. Some of those samples even get included in grocery shopping list.

Small Things That Make Me Smile

Thank you for the pair of earrings  I received from Momgen's Corner. I really like it! I love the pearly-white-and-pink color which of course, looks good on me. You can check out her craft supplies store to see more of her scrap supplies and clear envelopes.

Thank you to Gift Gate Philippines for these cute items. My sisters and I claimed our freebies from Sanrio Surprises in Megamall. We got these from answering a Gift Gate survey early last month. Glad that we are still able to claim these items. My sisters got the Hello Kitty pouch and magnet, while I choose the mini towel which I gave to my daughter.

Items That Came On Our Doorsteps

Weeks ago, I received my 6 pieces. Johnson & Johnson's body care lotion delivered by LBC courier. It came from Femalenetwork’s Share the Gift of Soft Skin promo.

This week, I got these items were delivered by the courier - two 1L Nestle Chuckie chocolate milk drink, for answering their online survey months ago and three boxes of different Doublemint candy mint variants, for my entry on their Closer to Confidence promo.

It’s great to receive these freebies. Yes, these are just small things; still the best things in life are free!

There are only a few freebies available in the Philippines, still, I enjoy getting freebies and taking advantage of some promos and discounts.

Last week, I received thru mail two complimentary SM Cinema tickets that I got from answering HSBC's Red Mastercard Survey. Contests Prizes and Winnings

"I won!" I love saying these two words repeatedly.

Reading these words, "Congratulations you are one of the winners...", in my email (as long as it is not spam) makes me feel like I am in the clouds. Knowing that my name or one of my family member's is included in the winners list brings me much joy.

I just find it fascinating to receive prizes, freebies and tokens from the contests I had joined. Yes, sometimes I win and sometimes I do not. Here are all the prizes and some freebies that my family received last month.


I appreciate all these gift certificates and items from Krispy Kreme, Honda Card Philippines, The Ramp Crossings, ClawDaddy, and Inquirer publications for the magazines and movie tickets. Even the kids enjoyed their loots from Disney Princess magazine and Total Girl magazine for my daughter's KidzRepublic gift certificate and for my younger sister's Barbie Mariposa beauty loot.

The latest item I received is a Physiogel gift pack as a consolation prize from MomsToady magazine for my short note on "How Do You Keep Baby's Skin Soft and Smooth."


The monetary values of all these prizes are not really high, but the good feeling comes from considering that we got all these for free!

I've received a Kenneth Cole Reaction wallet from HSBC which was delivered in my lola's house. It had escaped my mind that there's a package that I was about to receive from the previous months HSBC promo. It's a credit card promo wherein you'll get to receive a freebie from them once you've used your credit card for a certain amount of purchase. I already have the same wallet and decided to give this Kenneth Cole wallet which costs $50 to my mom!

+ Friday night, May 22:

I was still in the office when the kids yaya informed me that they'll be receiving boxes of Nido Fortified from Nestle. Whew! At last, we had received the complete prize from our winning Nido Fortidied video. The milk products is worth Php 46,000. I already had shared the first 6 2.5kg cans of milk to my family members and to the kids of our yaya. Now that we've already received a total of 504 150g boxes of milk, there'll be a lot more milk to share with other relatives and close friends.

We woke up and find packages of Nestle's Chuckie Burst, which yaya had received early in the morning. This is a free package from Nestle's Chuckie as past of their online promotion.
