Different Times, Different Love.

Nido Fortigrow® celebrates Mother’s Day through this heart-warming video of a grandmother, mom, and daughter. It shows that moms will always be #1. It's so inspiring! This is the best Mother's Day video I've seen and my favorite video commercial from Nido as well.

It’s a reminder for us to appreciate and thank the "moms" in our lives - our own mom, our mother-in-law, grandmother, aunt and everyone who took the roles of being a mom.

I love how NIDO Philippines continuously pays tribute to mothers everywhere for their timeless and nurturing love. Thank you for showing that love!

Last year, I remember how I got to be part of their surprise Mother's Day Pampering event. Not only that, a lot of moms enjoyed the "Wear Your Love" #1Mom shirts personalized by their kids and families.

An advance Mother's Day Pampering invite from Nido Fortified is something I can't resist. Glad that hubby offered to drop me off at Blue Water Day Spa Ortigas.

I spent the day at Blue Water Day Spa Ortigas branch with mommy bloggers. We were treated to a Foot massage with Reflexogy, plus a back massage. Great! This is what I really need.

I enjoyed getting pampered inside their spa theater. Since it's a theater, you can watch a movie while getting pampered.

Just when I'd been thankful for the day, there seems to be a lot more to be thankful for!

I didn't knew that there would be a big surprise after the spa treat.

We got blindfolded, rode in a van that would take us somewhere else. (So, where could that be?)

I had no idea where and what would that surprise awaits us.

We reached the place, still on our blindfolds, and heard lots of voices. At the count of 3, we were asked to remove our blindfolds. It was then when everyone greeted us Happy Mother's Day.  Ohh confettis!

We were at Uncle Cheffy's Greenhills Promenade branch! Kids, husbands and family member's of mommy bloggers filled the place. Wow my hubby and kids were there too!

Wow how could they be there? I don't have any idea about all these. I thought that they would just wait for after the spa.

My initial reaction was: "aba bat nandito kayo? alam nyo dito kami dadalin?"

It's indeed a big surprise!

Ms. Denise of Nestle's Consumer Marketing welcomed mom's and their families. A hearty meal follows. All moms got a personalized shirt "Wear Your Love" shirt from Nido Fortified.

Having a Baby

Giving birth to my kids had been the most wonderful blessing I had received. In the truest essence, they made my life complete and surround my day with incomparable love and happiness.

Having another baby might be beyond me and my husband's plans already, but I feel great for every addition in my family. Early this year, my sister-in-law gave birth to a healthy baby boy and my husband's nephew also gave birth to a lovely baby girl. Before the year ends, one of my sisters would surely enjoy carrying another baby in her arms. I wonder if she'll give birth to a baby girl or a baby boy.

It's great to know about the baby Chinese calendar to check or prepare for the gender of our babies.  Yet, even if we didn't get to use the calendar, knowing the gender of our babies from the ultrasound and while on the delivery room gave us so much excitement.

I love babies. I enjoy carrying them in my arms, seeing their innocent smiles and witnessing their milestones. When I got pregnant, I remember preparing and buying little things, checking my due date calculator, choosing the best baby name I could give and of course, the big day hospital-rush. It gave me so many wonderful memories and great moments, making every sacrifices and pains second-to-none.

Babies are indeed blessings. Seeing my kids grow in their best selves is a continuation of these blessings. I love being a mom and I'll always be.

Moms and Kids Magazine: My Published Blog

My opinion on the topic on spanking got published in Moms and Kids Magazine (Volume 10, Issue No.6). I had posted a copy of my article in my previous blog site. It felt good knowing that I had contributed and shared my experience on being a mom and my point of views.
